Roman Empire - Antoninus Pius Augustus (138-161 A.D). Bronze sestertius. Minted in Rome 139 A.D. LIBERALITAS COS II SC. ANTONINVS - AVG PIVS. P. P. TRP. Laureated head right. LIBERALITAS COS II SC Antoninus sits on the platform from left to right, an official, in front of him Liberalitas with a counting board and fountain, including a small figure of a citizen. RIC 537. 22.80 g. 30 mm. Good very fine condition. Beautiful brown-tan patina. Very rare (R2 in RIC).
