Description
Sicily, Akragas. 287-279 B.C. Æ (22 mm, 7.30 g, 12 h). Laureate head of Apollo right / Two eagles standing left upon dead hare, the farther one preparing to devour it, the nearer with its head raised. BAR issue 7; CNS 125; SNG ANS 1128. Dark green patina with a few flecks of reddish-brown. Very fine.
