Sicily, Syracuse. Hieron II. 275-215 B.C. Æ (26 mm, 17.38 g, 5 h). Ca. 230-218/5 B.C. Diademed head of Hieron II left / IEPΩNOΣ, horseman riding right, holding spear; below, AP monogram. CNS 195 R1 8; BAR issue 61; HGC 2, 1548. Dark green patina. Very fine.
