Mysia, Pergamon. Ca. 166-67 B.C. AR cistophoric tetradrachm (27 mm, 12.59 g, 12 h). Ca. 150-140 B.C. Serpent emerging from cista; all within ivy wreath / Serpents entwined around bow case; in left field, city monogram; in right field, filleted thyrsos. Kleiner-Noe series 24a; Pinder 77; SNG Copenhagen 407. Nice very fine.
