Seleukid Kingdom. Alexander I Balas. 152/1-145 B.C. AR drachm (18 mm, 4.14 g, 12 h). Antioch on the Orontes, undated, ca. S.E. 164/5 (149/8-148/7 B.C.). Diademed head of Alexander I Balas right / ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩ[Σ] ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟ[Υ] ΘΕΟΠΑ-ΤΟΡΟΣ ΕΥΕΡΓΕΤΟΥ, Apollo Delphios seated left on omphalos, holding arrow and resting hand on grounded bow behind; in exergue, Δ. SC 1785.1d; HGC 9, 887a. Excellent metal with very light tone. Good very fine.
