Ptolemaic Kingdom. Ptolemy VI Philometor. First reign, 180-164 B.C. Æ (28 mm, 14.02 g, 11 h). Alexandria, under Cleopatra I Thea as regent, 180-176 B.C. Head Isis right, wearing wreath of grain ears / BAΣIΛEΩΣ ΠTOΛΕΜΑΙΟΥ, eagle standing left on thunderbolt with wings displayed; in left field, monogram. Svoronos 1384; SNG Copenhagen 286. Light brown patina. Very fine.
