Kolchis, Dioskourias. 2nd-1st centuries B.C. Æ (15 mm, 3.58 g, 12 h). Caps of the Dioskouroi surmounted by stars / ΔΙ-ΟΣ/ΚΟΥ-ΡΙΑ/Δ-ΟΣ in three lines across field, thyrsos. SNG BM 1021; SNG Stancomb 638. An attractive and sharply struck example. Dark green-black patina with earthen deposits, light cleaning marks on the obverse. Extremely fine.
