Phrygia, Apameia. Pseudo-autonomous issue. 2nd century A.D. Æ (16 mm, 2.31 g, 6 h). [AΠ[AMЄ-ΩN, helmeted and draped bust of Athena right, wearing aegis on breast / MAIANΔPOC, river-god Maeandros reclining left, holding reed and cornucopiae, on overturned vase from which water flows. SNG von Aulock -; SNG Copenhagen -; BMC 116. Light green patina with sandy deposits. Extremely fine.
