Description
Anonymous [Victory]. Ca. 211-208 B.C. Æ triens (24 mm, 8.15 g, 9 h). Rome. Helmeted head of Minerva right; above, four pellets / Prow of galley right; above, Victory with wreath and ROMA; below, four pellets. Crawford 61/4; Sydenham 148b; BMCRR (Italy) 340. Brown and black patina with some brassy deposits on reverse. Very fine.
A duplicate from the RBW Collection of Roman Republican Coins. Purchased privately from R. Schaefer, 10 December 1993.
