A beautiful Ghandaran stone oil lamp, c. 100 - 300 AD. This finely crafted example is 4” long and is carved from the blue chlorite characteristic of the region. The heart-shaped vessel is decorated with simple linear incising on the rim. Rare type, good mineral deposits. Ex Khan collection. Value range $200 - $400.
