Description
ANTIQUITIES, Chimu zoomorphic bottle from Peru. An excellent Chimu zoomorphic bottle from Peru, ca. 1100 – 1450 AD. This highly burnished blackware example is 6-1/2” high and depicts a puma head. Its teeth are visible in the open mouth and a nicely detailed bird adorno is perched on the spout. Good mineral deposits and trails.
