Description
A beautiful Maya bowl from the Peten region of Guatemala, c. 400 – 800 AD. This lovely example is 7-3/8” in diameter and is painted with a bright orange slip, which is highlighted with dark red linear designs at the rim and base. Intact, with vivid colors, root marks, trails and strong mineral deposits. Ex Kahn collection. Value range: $400 - $600.
