Nero. A.D. 54-68. Æ dupondius (23 mm, 14.64 g, 6 h). Rome, ca. A.D. 64. NERO CLAVD CAESAR AVG GER P M TR P IMP P P, radiate head of Nero right / VICTORIA AVGVSTI, S C across field, Victory advancing left, holding wreath and palm; in exergue, II. RIC 196; WCN 205; BMC 214. Two-tone red-brown and tan patina, some roughness. Well centered and high relief portrait. Very fine.
