Bhabua Hoard type. 6th century B.C. AR 5 shana (23 mm, 4.98 g). Four punches, including a pair of geometric symbols (Kashi) / Traces of bankers' marks. Rajgor 609. Very rare. Toned. Very fine.

This is the earliest issue of Kashi janapada, and one of the earliest indigenous punchmarked coins issued in the Indian subcontinent.
