Apollodotos II. Ca. 80-60 B.C. AR drachm (17 mm, 2.21 g). Diademed and draped bust of Apollodotos II right / Athena Promachos advancing left, brandishing thunderbolt and shield, with monogram to right and Kharoshthi legend Maharajasa tratarasa Apaladatasa (of Great King Apollodotos the Savior). HGC 12, 391. A wonderful royal portrait, struck in high relief. Very rare. Choice very fine.
