Vonones, with Spalahores. Ca. 75-65 B.C. AR tetradrachm (24 mm, 9.69 g, 12 h). BAΣIΛEωΣ BAΣIΛEΩN MEΓAΛOY / ONΩNOY, king right on horseback right, holding spear / Zeus standing facing slightly left, holding thunderbolt and scepter; monogram to right; Kharoshthi legend around: Maharajabhrata dhramikasa / Spalahorasa. Senior 65.3T; MIG 681b; HGC 12, 609. Good very fine. 

This coin names Vonones on the obverse and Spalahores on the reverse. It is highly unusual in that the Greek and Kharoshthi legends are not translations of one another. While the Greek legend proclaims King Vonones the Great, King of Kings, the Kharoshthi on the reverse says: ""of Spalahores, the king's brother, the just.""
