Azes. Ca. 58-12 B.C. Lot of 2 Æ. Includes:1/2 unit (23 mm, 5.97 g) and 1/4 unit (17 mm, 2.51 g). Both with bull standing right with Greek legend around / Lion standing right with Kharoshthi legend around Maharajasa rajadhirajasa mahatasa/ Ayasa (of Great King, King of Kings, Azes the Great). HGC 12, 667 and 671. Rare. Both very fine.

The full units of Azes are quite common, but these fractions are rarely found.
