Description
2nd century B.C. Æ unit (19 mm, 12.38 g). Lion standing right, with hill to right and swastika above / Elephant advancing left, with 3-arched hill above. Mitchiner 4398. A rare orientation, with the animals' direction reversed from the usual type. A sharply struck specimen with complete details. Rare and choice. Black patina with several tiny spots of corrosion. Very fine.
