Kausambi region. 2nd century B.C. Æ (18 mm, 4.89 g). elephant advancing left, with swastika and indradhvaja to left and six-armed symbol above / Railed tree in center with hollow cross to left and hill to right. Pieper 195. Scarce and very rich in symbolism. A wonderful example. Dark green patina. Nice very fine.
