300 B.C.-A.D. 300 Æ fraction (13 mm, 1.85 g). Elephant standing right, with swastika and miscellaneous symbols above / Bow and arrow with ankusa below. Pieper 780. Very rare. This small denomination has complete details on a thin flan. Brown patina. Fine / very fine.
The coins of the Cheras are the rarest of the classical Sangam Age.
