Description
5th century A.D. PB unit (16 mm, 2.83 g). Shankha shell / Lotus symbol. AICR 902. Scarce and choice. Brown patina, light deposits on reverse. Fine.
This anonymous series of lead coin circulated in Malwa after the Guptas. It depicts Vaishnavite symbols such as the conch shell.
