Goddess Lakshmi seated facing, with Nagari legends Sri Sampath to left and Jaya to right / King standing sacrificing at altar, flanked by Nagari legend Si/mha. MNI -. This rare type of Jayasimha with the additional name Sampath is not recorded by Mitchiner. Coppery-brown patina, light roughness and edge flaw. Very fine.
