Nasir al-Din Khusru was a Hindu convert from Gujarat who became a court official and lover of Mubarak Khalji, and later murdered his master and usurped the throne. Khusru's reign lasted for just a few months, however, as he lacked the support of the Muslim aristocracy. The Turkish nobles invited Ghiyath al-Din Tughlaq, the governor of Punjab, to attack Delhi and remove the upstart. In the ensuing battle, Tughlaq defeated and killed Khusru, and ascended the throne of Delhi.i is rated as S (Scarce) by Goron & Goenka.
