ROMAN EMPIRE. Otacilia Severa, Augusta. AD. 244-249. Æ Sestertius (17.76 gm; 27 mm). Rome, struck under Philip I, AD 249. MARCIA OTACIL SEVERA AVG, diademed and draped bust of Otacilia Severa right. Reverse: PIETAS AVGVSTAE, S C across field, Pietas standing facing, head left, extending hand and holding box of perfumes. RIC 208a. Well struck on a nice full flan. Dark brown patina with hints of greenish deposits. Superb Extremely Fine.
