Trajan. A.D. 98-117. Æ dupondius (27 mm, 13.70 g, 7 h). Rome, ca. A.D. 104/5-107. IMP CAES NERVAE TRAIANO AVG GER DAC P M TR P COS V P P, radiate bust of Trajan right, wearing aegis / S P Q R OPTIMO PRINCIPI, S C in exergue, emperor on horseback galloping right, spearing enemy falling before. RIC 539; Woytek 208cB; BMC 901; cf. BN 333 (bust). Brown patina with tan on the high points, patches of porosity and roughness. Very fine.
