Marcus Aurelius. A.D. 161-180. Æ dupondius (23 mm, 10.57 g, 12 h). Rome, A.D. 177. M ANTONINVS AVG [GE]RM [SARM TR] P XXXI, radiate head of Marcus Aurelius right / IMP VIII COS III P P, S C across field, two captives seated beneath trophy. RIC 1188. Brown patina with sandy deposits, porous and a little rough. Very fine.
