M COMM[ODVS ANT]ONINVS AVG PIVS, radiate head of Commodus right / SALVS AVG TR P VIII IMP [V] COS IIII P P, S C across field, Salus standing facing, head left, feeding from patera serpent arising from altar, and holding scepter. RIC 359. Brown patina, light roughness. Very fine.
