IMP GORDIANVS PIVS FEL AVG, laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Gordian III right, seen from behind / AETER-NITATI AVG, S C across field, Sol standing right, head turned left, raising right hand, holding globe in left. RIC 297a. Brown patina with some green, surfaces slightly rough, small flake on edge. Very fine.
