Hematite Presentation Scene Cylinder Seal. Old Babylonia, 1900-1800 BC. Black Hematite cylinder seal engraved with Worshiper approaching Deity; two bands of cuneiform text behind. 23 mm. This seems to be a half-finished seal available at the temple were the details of the Worshipper would be completed after commission. Interesting. ex J Tabet collection.
