Banded Agate and Glass Necklace. Western Asiatic, II-I Millennium BC. Black, brown, gray banded agate cylinder and rectangular tablet beads, strung with two black glass Phoenician style beads with raised applied “eyes” (500-200 BC), and with mosaic eye bead in circular drop (Roman Egypt, 200 BC - 200 AD). 19” plus drop. Restrung with modern clasp.
