Large Faience Baboon Statuette. Egypt, Late Period, VII-IV Century BC. Green faience figure of Thoth as squatting baboon. Well-executed with good details. 30 mm high. Sell-standing figurine, not the usual worn amulet with suspension loop. Minor chip to bottom of base, otherwise intact and choice. Good color large size. Rare and important. ex PNC collection.
