Serpentine Stone Scarab. Local Egypt (Delta type, Reportedly from Jordan), Hyksos Period, 1650-1550 Century BC. Serpentine stone (not the usual steatite or faience) scarab with stylized beetle back and bezel with linear decoration featuring central cross. Petrie.1523 (From Tell el Yehudiyeh) 15mm. Scarce material. Rare. ex PNC collection.
