Diademed bust of Ardashir I right, wearing close-fitting headdress lacking earflaps and with korymbos / Fire altar with diadems; no attendants; four large pellets on lower base. SNS type VII(4a)/#b(2b); Göbl type V/2. Rare variety. Lightly toned. Nearly extremely fine.
