TABERISTAN. Khalid ibn Barmak. (766-772 AD). Year 116. Silver Hemidrachm (2.08 gm; 23 mm). Sasanian bust to the right, name in Pahlavi in front of face, phrase APD in Pahlavi in the seconf quarter / Fire altar with attendants, mint “TPURSTAN (Tabaristan)” on the right, date: 116. The period coincides with reign of 2nd Abbasid Khalif; Al Manusr (754-775 AD). Choice FDC. Fully Lustrous.
