Description
ILKHANS of PERSIA, Ahmad Tekudar 1282-1284 AD. Æ (2.02 gm; 18 mm). Obverse: A'Sultan Tagoud. Overstruck on an earlier coin, reverse; running zebu at the center. Phrase around the circle date or mint not legible. Extremely rare coin for a short-lived ruler, which given the script in many occasions is mis-classified. Dark brown-reddish patina. Choice EF.
