A lot of 4 Roman provincial bronzes, each bearing a countermark. Types includes an AE-21 of Claudius from Ptolemais-Ace, Phoenicia, Year 99 (AD 51-2) and Tyche reverse. Obv. c/m of a male head rt. (Howgego p. 181, 138); an AE-26 of Trajan with a rectangular c/m containing a male head rt.; an AE-21 of an uncertain ruler with a c/m of a head facing rt.; and an unidentified AE-23 with a c/m in a rectangular punch (Ex Freeman & Sear, Mail Bid Sale 2, Lot 222 (part).
