Description
A lot of 2 Egyptian scarabs. The first is from the 2nd Intermediate scarabs, c.1750 – 1570 BC, with a lion and crocodile on base. 15 x 11mm, minor chip. The second piece is Late Period, c. 664 - 323 BC, and made of faience with hieroglyphs on the base. 15 x 10mm. Ex coll. Albert F. Pagnon, Luxor, acquired in the 1860’s; Ex Seaby. Value range $200 - $300.
