Trajan Decius. A.D. 249-251. Æ sestertius (27 mm, 15.29 g, 1 h). Rome, A.D. 249/50. IMP CAES C [M]ESS Q DECIO TRAI AVG, laureate and cuirassed bust of Trajan Decius right, slight drapery on far shoulder, viewed from the front / VICTORIA AVG, S C across field, Victory advancing left, holding wreath and palm. Cf. RIC 108a (bust). A scarce obverse legend for Decius, and a rare bust type. Nice portrait of Decius. Attractive earthen dark green patina. Very fine.
