Sicily, Leontinoi. Ca. 476-468 B.C. AR tetradrachm (22 mm, 16.71 g, 10 h). Charioteer, holding kentron and reins, driving slow quadriga right; above, Nike flying right, crowning horses / Λ-EO-NTIN-ON (retrograde), head of roaring lion right; around, four barley corns. Boehringer 9 = Randazzo 82 = SNG ANS 205 (same dies). Toned. Obverse slightly off center, a touch of porosity on reverse. Very fine.
