Claudius II Gothicus. A.D. 268-270. Æ antoninianus (20 mm, 3.38 g, 12 h). Antioch, ca. A.D. 270. IMP C CLAVDIVS AVG, radiate head of Claudius II left / IVVEN-TVS AVG, Hercules standing facing, head left, holding club set on ground and lion's skin. RIC 213; Huvelin 41. Brown patina with underlying silvering. Small deposit on Claudius' neck. Extremely fine.
