Description
Northwest Gaul, Coriosolites. Ca. 100-50 B.C. BI stater (23 mm, 6.71 g, 10 h). Head with wild hair right / Rider on horseback left; symbol below. Delestrée & Tache 2334. Toned. Very fine.
The Coriosolites were a somewhat obscure Celtic people of Armorica (coastal Gaul in and around modern Brittany) known to Julius Caesar.
