Sicily, Syracuse. Second Democracy. 466-405 B.C. Æ hemilitron (17 mm, 4.68 g). Ca. 410-405 B.C. ΣΥΡΑ, head of nymph left, hair bound in sakkos / Sixteen-rayed star within circular incuse in center of quadripartite incuse square. CNS 18; SNG ANS 394. Wonderful style. Dark green and brown patina. Choice extremely fine.
