MYSIA, Pergamon. Ca. 133-67 BC. AR Cistophoric Tetradrachm (12.63 gm; 27 mm). Struck circa 92-88 BC. Cista mystica with serpent, all within ivy wreath / Bowcase flanked by two serpents, heads confronted, monogram above, serpent twined around thyrsus to right, monogram to left. Kleiner, Hoard 10; SNG BNF 1718; SNG France 1707. Well struck on a nice broad flan. Choice aEF.
