SASANIAN KINGS. Yazdgird I (399-420 AD). AR Drachm (3.50 gm; 24 mm). Obverse, Sasanian style bust of Yazdgird to the right, reverse, fire altar with attendants, mint abbreviation “AW” for Ahwaz to the right. Rare with no symbol around the fire altar. Sunrise 897var. Nice elegant style. Choice Good EF. Toned. Rare.
