SASANIAN KINGS. Hormizd II (303-309 AD . AR Drachm (3.88 gm; 27 mm). Obverse; Hormizd bust to the right with standard crown of his reign, reverse; fire altar with attendants and figure in the flame facing right, SNS Type Ia(zu4)/3f(zu 1); Sunrise 817. Very faint hairline scratch on the field (hardly visible). Beautiful style. Well struck. Choice EF. Rare.
