ROMAN EMPIRE. Plautilla (wife of Caracalla). AD. 202-205. AR Denarius (3.38 gm; 17 mm). 202 AD Rome. Draped bust with Plautilla's hair collected on the right, around the legend: PLAVTILLAE AVGVSTAE. Rev: Plautilla and Caracalla facing shelves shaking hands, around legend: PROPAGO IMPERI. RIC IV 362 (Caracalla); BMCRE 406 (Caracalla); RSC 21. Well struck on a nice full flan. Choice EF. Lightly toned.
