ROMAN EMPIRE. Vespasian. AD 69-79. Æ Dupondius (12.40 gm; 25 mm). Rome mint. Struck AD 71. IMP CAES VESPASIAN AVG COS III, radiate head right / ROMA upward to left, Roma seated left on cuirass, holding wreath with her extended right hand and resting left on parazonium at her waist; two shields set on ground to right; S C in exergue. RIC II 277; BMCRE 594-5; BN 568. Lovely strike on a nice flan. Choice EF. Nice green patina. Lovely example for the issue.
