CONSTANTINE II, as Caesar. 317-337 AD. Æ Follis (16mm - 2.42 g). Trier mint. Struck 327-328 AD. CONSTANTINVS IVN NOB C, laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right / PROVIDEN-TIAE AVGG, camp-gate with no doors and two turrets, star above; PTRE. RIC VII -; LRBC -. Good VF, brown patina.

A mule pairing a reverse usually reserved for Constantine I with an obverse of Constantine II as Caesar. The reverse would be proper for RIC VII 504 but the obverse type is otherwise unpublished for Constantine II, who is usually seen facing left.
