IMP CAES VESPAS AVG P M TR P P P COS III, laureate head of Vespasian right / VICTORIA AVGVSTI, S C in exergue, Victory standing right, foot on helmet, attaching shield inscribed [OB/CIV/SERV] in three lines to palm tree beneath which Judaea in attitude of mourning seated right. RIC 256 (r2); BMC 584; BN -. Very rare short legend variety. Red-brown and tan patina, porosity. Nearly very fine.
