Roman Empire Divus Septimius Severus AD 211. Struck under Caracalla (AD 198-217). Rome Denarius AR. Obv.: DIVO SEVERO PIO, bare head right / Rev.: CONSECRATIO, eagle standing right on thunderbolt, head left, with wings spread. RIC 191b (Caracalla). 3.08 g, 20 mm. Near extremely fine condition, great exemplar and scarce exemplar, latin legend, nice reverse, scarce with eagle over thunderbolt!
